"Stories of Yesteryear" was written by Patsy
McCloskey (Harry) from the Benedy. Patsy was boen
in 1921 and died in 2003. Some of these stories
were published in the Benbradagh Magazines over the
years. We include some of those already published
and a couple of new ones. The stories portray a
way of life long since gone, but are very informative
from a social point of view, giving an insight into the
way of life in the last century.
