We have put together a few articles and stories which provide an insight into life in the Benedy, and indeed in most rural areas, in days gone by.
Many customs and traditions derived from various festivals, mostly related to farming and also from Holy Days throughout the year. Many of these occassions are no londer celebrated or even remembered.
In today's society where technology is all important, former customs and traditions are forgotten. Our articles/stories may prove interesting in that they portray a way of life which would be unfamiliar to the younger generation of today.
